As a part of 2024 Pay it Forward (PIF) Week, a jersey retirement ceremony will be held for former student-athlete and Spartan first baseman Halsie Barnes of Tingley, on Saturday, April 27, 2024, during the softball games vs. Southeastern.

- 10:30 a.m. - Halsie Barnes jersey retirement ceremony, Spartan softball field
- 11 a.m. - Spartan softball vs Southeastern begins
- 11 a.m. - Lunch will be served during game 1
